Boost In Kerala is not enough at National level

Appreciable boost in Consumer Mobility including MNP performed by Kerala Circle was not enough to reflect in national level since the BSNL said to have posted a 3% dip in revenue.

Kerala Police force is the one of the largest CUG customer of BSNL Kerala. More over Kerala police has been standing with BSNL in a lot of issues where BSNL faces stringent ill motivated opponents. By tapping the CDR of one its key  members for a political use is unacceptable at any levels.

The culprit(s) has forgotten that they are  Central Government Servant(s) whose prime motive is to 

• Maintain absolute integrity all times.
• Maintain absolute devotion to duty at all times.
• Maintain political neutrality.

And 

• Don't indulge in acts unbecoming of a government servant.
• Do not get involved in unauthorized communication of any official document or any pat thereof or classified information to any government servant or any other persons to whom you are not authorized to communicate such document of classified information

We all request our leaders and management to trace out the err official and pin down regardless the colour and flag of his designation and association.

VRS for 50,000 employees on the cards

.The department of telecommunications (DoT) has directed state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd to prepare a voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) for 50,000 of the latter’s employees.When asked, BSNL chairman and managing director R K Upadhyay said, “The Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises had recommended we give VRS to our employees. The exercise is still on and we have not taken any decision on it yet.” The need to reduce the workforce was earlier suggested by Sam Pitroda, advisor to the Prime Minister on infrastructure. He wanted BSNL to reduce its employee base by about 100,000  The move will require a one-time payment of Rs 4,000-5,000 crore, for which DoT would give financial support, a senior official from the latter told Business Standard >>>>>>

Finally somebody in BSNL has guts to stand up for what is right

BSNL pulled the plug due to an ongoing dispute with RCom on payment of access deficit charges (ADC) in 2004. As a result, RCom and BSNL subscribers in Punjab and Haryana could not connect with each other. “This has affected BSNL's own 4.18 million customers as well as the total of 8.14 million customers in the two circles,” RCom said.To restore the connection, the private operator has paid Rs 533 crore as full and final settlement towards interconnection with BSNL. In addition, a payment of Rs 55 crore has also been made under protest. .>>>>>>

In these years this RCom snatched the deserved money, threatening high profile officials of BSNL. Now its the right time to copy-act the same in other circles. If Rs.533 Cr lone for two circles, think about pan-india. Remember this "Mobile Customer Messiah" has created thousands of fake local numbers to en-route ISD calls to BSNL, thus stealing ISD ADC framing as Local Call ADC.

A railway ticket valid for 10 weeks

It is today the BSNL's counsel at Chennai PCAT revealed the 10 weeks pre-induction training is nothing but worthless like a railway ticket. It is this 10 weeks training the Non graduate engineers affiliated themselves that "we trained GEs so we are qualified!". If it is the version of BSNLs Law studied counsels, Well thats fine, it may be ignored because it may arise from inferiority complex that he may not be able to secure an engineering seat. But if he learned the same from BSNL Management, its quite a shame for themselves and ill-qualified to continue in such positions which is the face of this giant PSU. 

In both cases , its crystal clear the option of the Management is to win the case in any clandestine ways disregarding the basic HRM values and ethics, suppressing the factual truths .
